Lamp lighting by Mrs Gayatri Khanna
A seminar on “CBSE’s Changing Patterns of Teaching and Assessment” was conducted at Hindu Vidyapeeth on 6th Jan 2018. Ms Gayatri Khanna, the author of NCERT English Books (9-12) conducted the session efficiently. The purpose of the seminar was to acquaint the teachers with new mythologies of teaching and assessment recommended by CBSE.
The resource person laid stress on adopting different and logical methods of assessment. She also suggested that the students must be assessed on specific perimeters giving equal importance to the three major pillars of learning and assessment: Diagnostic, Feedback and Feed forward.
Earlier, Principal Mrs Soni Rudra offered a floral welcome and underlined the need of such seminars to keep the teachers competence alive and according to the ever changing needs of learners.
At the end of the session, Headmistress Mrs Sushila Rana extended Ms Gayatri Khanna a token of love. The seminar came to an end with the vote of thanks.
