The 105th Birth anniversary of Lala Jai kishan Aggarwal memorial Inter-School declamation contest was held on 21st Nov., 2018 in the auditorium of Hindu Vidyapeeth. Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Anayath, the Vice Chancellor of DCRUST University was the chief guest of the event.  He inspired the students by giving some tips to improve their communication skill. Mrs. Soni Rudra the principal of the school gave a floral welcome to the chief guest, judge and other guests of the day. The event started with lamp lighting by the esteemed members of the management and chief guest. The participants declaimed on a wide range of topics concerning burning issues like, ‘Public sector undertaking: Assets or liability’, ‘Malady of human living: Drifting Away from mother earth’, ‘ Artificial intelligence: A threat to cognitive learning’, India unity at crossroads’ , ‘Sports education in India undergoing welcome change’, ‘Future of the country is shaped in its classroom’. The judges include Mr. Narender saini, associate professor, HOD of English Department in CRA College. Mrs. Sunita Bhardwaj, associate professor, HOD of English Department in GVM Girls College. Mr. Mayur Chhikara, associate professor, HOD of English Department in DCRUST University. Total 32 students participated in it.

Results are as follow:

 Master Akash of Shiva Siksha Sadan was adjudged the best speaker followed by Master Ronak Narwal of Hindu Vidya Peeth. Miss Sakshi Arya was third from Shiva Siksha Sadan. Miss Bhumika got first consolation prize from Om Public School. Miss Shristi got second consolation prize from Gyan Ganga Globle. The running trophy was awarded to Shiva Siksha Sadan. The event was spiced with some cultural events. Cultural event participants got cash prizes for their excellent performances from the management side. Our anchors Master Harsh Dahiya and Miss Isha were awarded cash prizes for their fabulous anchoring. Head girl of the school owed special gratitude to the chief guest, judges and other guests of the day for their valuable contribution despite of their busy schedule. She thanked all the participants for their contribution to make the even a resounding success. The participants and teachers were provided with lunch. Over all it was a knowledgeable and enthralling experience and was a great success.
