She is a multi-faceted and dynamic personality, who aims at imparting holistic education and makes learning a joyful experience.
Mrs. Soni Rudra, a veteran educationist, experienced, passionate and caring teacher, is a woman of caliber, principles and precision. She leaves no stone unturned in her journey towards excellence and perfection. She has a long and eventful association with Hindu Vidyapeeth that began in the year 1988 when she joined it in its years of infancy, as a teacher of English, contributing largely to the growth and expansion of the school under various capacities and took over as the principal in March 2011. She has an impeccable service record of educational career of 28 years till date of which 23 years as a teacher. Her illustrious academic career began with her schooling at AFCB High School, Yol Cantt and Govt. College, Dharamshala (HP). She holds her Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from MD University, Rohtak and B.Ed from Kashmir University. She also participated in All India Inter University Hockey Tournaments twice.
When she started her career, as a teacher, she realized that teaching profession demands a complete involvement of mind, heart and spirit. Her students have always excelled in English in class 10th and 12th .A large number of students obtaining distinctions speaks volumes about her relentless and unstinted efforts as an English teacher.
Her passion for teaching has not ceased even after holding the post of Principal. She still teaches Sr. Sec. classes in English and her students under her tutelage bring accolades to the school by achieving excellent results every year. She is an inspiration for other teachers as there is a line of students who score 90% and above in her subject.
The teachers are also inspired with her firmly result oriented approach and her valuable teaching experience. She has very efficiently and effectively spearheaded the school. It is only under her flagship that the school has been getting 100% result for the last three years, which has become a tradition now. Moreover the teachers of secondary and senior secondary classes are regularly getting felicitations from the HRD ministry for their outstanding results.
She believes that each student is a unique prodigy and maximum time and effort must be invested in grooming and nurturing his/her hidden potential. Purity of thoughts, speech and action are the hallmark of HVP. She is committed to develop the minds of the young children to the fullest and nurture global citizens of tomorrow.
