TREE PLANTATION DONE BY THE GUIDES OF HINDU VIDYAPEETH
A tree plantation program was organized by the guide team of Bharat Scouts and Guides in the premises of Hindu Vidyapeeth.
The program was organized under the leadership of District Organization Commissioner and Guide Captain Mrs. Archana Bhoria. The purpose of tree plantation was to make students and the general public aware of the changes taking place in the environment.
During the program, all the guides took a pledge to plant a sapling every year on their birthday. The guides also pledged that they would inspire their family members to do the same.
Principal Mrs. Anita Gautam gave best wishes to all the guides and said that they should continue to do similar work in future.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION RALLY SAY NO TO “SINGLE USE PLASTIC”
Bharat Scouts and Guides organized a rally on the topic of environmental protection in the premises of Hindu Vidyapeeth. The purpose was to find the reason for the change in the environment and to take the preventive measures to the general public. The guides made the students of their school aware of not to use “SINGLE USE PLASTIC”. The guides made cloth bags and distributed the bags to the nearby people, shopkeepers, fruit vendors and all other shops. Instead of appealing to people, use less AC in your home and use vehicles only as per requirement. The Guides met all the principals of Hindu Girls College, Hindu Kanya School, Hindu College of Engineering, Hindu Institute of Technology, Hindu Architecture College and proposed to be a part of their campaign. Appreciating this program, everyone wished them good luck for their bright future and assured that they would connect all the students by organizing such programs in their school and college.
School Principal Mrs. Anita Gautam appreciated the work of all guides and guide Captain Mrs. Archana Bhoria (District Organization Commissioner Guide) and wishing that the future is not far when we all will breathe in a healthy environment. She said that we all have to work together to protect the environment and the guides of Hindu Vidyapeeth have taken small steps towards a bright future.
